We bought this desk to put in our son's room so he could have an appropriate space to do his homework. He absolutely loves it, and uses it for writing assignments or just to sit and read. He enjoys the pinboard very much, too. When I put this piece of furniture together, it is one of the most well-made items we have bought. It is heavy wood, in excellent condition, and every part went in easily and perfectly (maybe because it is from an American furniture company). The only word of caution is this: it is a small desk, intended for young children as they start school and will accomodate them up to about fourth grade. Beyond that age, the chair is really too small. But for now, we love it, it's beautiful, and our son thinks it's great!
I'm super pleased with this product. It's very attractive (for kid furniture), assembled easily, and is rock solid. It arrived much sooner than I expected. My daughter is thrilled - and so am I.
